Why not the statue of Margaret Sanger?
Planned Parenthood, the organization that Margaret Sanger founded and the world’s largest abortion “provider”, targets minority areas to promote abortion.
Why not the statue of Margaret Sanger? (See the extra photos attached to this post!)
The tragic killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis by a white police officer has provoked rioting in cities around the world to demand that police departments be defunded, that criminals be released from jails, and that racism come to an end.
Of course, all people of goodwill should agree that racism is a grave evil and must be eradicated.
All lives, including black lives, matter. There is one particularly racist practice, one that has resulted in the killing of countless people of colour. That killer is abortion, and it is not being protested against at all in mainstream media.
Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, claimed back in 1918 that abortion was in widespread use, especially by poor women as a means of controlling family size. Sanger was an inveterate racist and eugenicist. Sanger desired to rid society of “the unfit,” which in her mind included people of colour. She once wrote, “We don’t want the word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.”
Sanger initially thought that birth control campaigns would be sufficient to stop the spread of the black race, but later she considered that abortion would be required to achieve that objective.
To this day Planned Parenthood, the organization that Sanger founded and the world’s largest abortion “provider”, targets minority areas to promote abortion. Nearly 80 percent of Planned Parenthood’s surgical abortion facilities in the USA are within walking distance of black and Hispanic communities. Nearly two-thirds of abortions are tragically performed on babies of minority descent. Sanger’s racist legacy is being carried out daily around the world. The are hundreds of Planned Parenthood “clinics” across Africa.
It's time to insist that all lives matter, including the lives of the unborn. We have got to fight to end the practice of abortion and its racist genesis.
Over the past while, we have witnessed statues being toppled all over the USA and in several other countries, historic monuments being defaced, and mobs of “peaceful protesters” vandalising cities, all under the guise of rooting out racism. But through all this madness, one historic figure remains untouched: Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger. Why?
Margaret Sanger was an advocate of eugenics. She once stated, “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
20 million black babies have been aborted since the tragic Roe v. Wade decision in the USA. In New York City, black babies are more likely to be aborted than born alive. And according to the CDC, nearly 36% of all abortions were committed on black babies despite the fact that African-Americans only make up 13% of the total population.
So why is the “mob” silent when it comes to Margaret Sanger’s racist past. It seems that pro-abortion politicians and the media are bought-and-paid for by the Abortion Lobby and they continue to sweep Planned Parenthood’s racism under the rug! It’s time to expose their hypocrisy.
While the Abortion Lobby praises Margaret Sanger, pro-life influencers in the USA could focus on three main targets:
1) RENAME Margaret Sanger Square in New York City. Pro-abortion Leftists are fighting to rename streets, schools, and even entire American towns named after American Founders and figures. Yet they think Sanger should still be honoured?
2) REMOVE Margaret Sanger’s sculpture in the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has backed a decision to remove a statue of Teddy Roosevelt at the American Museum of Natural History. If they can remove a statue of a president, shouldn’t Margaret Sanger be removed too?
3) TEAR DOWN the statue of Margaret Sanger at the Old South Meeting House on Boston’s Freedom Trail. What a place for a statue of eugenicist Margaret Sanger on the “Freedom Trail”.
In Africa, every time promotion of Planned Parenthood arises, we need to unmask this dimension of their identity! We must expose the pro-abortion hypocrisy by holding them accountable to their own rules. There is no better way to upset the Abortion Lobby than by exposing the truth about their beloved Margaret Sanger. Let’s uncover Planned Parenthood’s hypocrisy – and the sheer amount of destruction of innocent human life.
